Silhouette.
The OPALE signature is a balance, expressed through silhouette and styling. Refined influences meet the attitude and versatility of contemporary streetwear.
OLD-MONEY REFINEMENT.
CONTEMPORARY ATTITUDE.
OLD-MONEY REFINEMENT.
CONTEMPORARY ATTITUDE.
Founded in Barcelona by two friends, Ziad Aly and Ahmed Samy, OPALE began with a shared ambition: bring old-money elegance and contemporary streetwear into one coherent identity.
The name comes from the opal — a gemstone valued for its rarity and distinctive character. It reflects the kind of clothing the founders wanted to create: considered, personal and not easily found.
The first piece was a polo shirt, inspired by understated elegance. It introduced the brand to its first customers through social media. OPALE now looks beyond that first signature towards its own original design language.
If we would not wear it ourselves,
we would not create it.
IT’S HOW
YOU FEEL.
CONFIDENCE.
INDIVIDUALITY.
PRESENCE.
OPALE sits between premium fashion and accessible luxury. Design, quality, fit and detail should make each piece feel special — and give the person wearing it a stronger sense of confidence and individuality.
Quality. Individuality. Authenticity. Timelessness. Ambition. These values guide the brand: classic influences and contemporary silhouettes, with every piece earning its place in the founders’ own wardrobes.

Leather, wool, cotton and linen form the brand’s material vocabulary, chosen for comfort, texture, durability and the character they bring to a design.
Unisex clothing, designed for men and women. Each sample is tested and reviewed so the finished garment reflects the intended fit and design.
The ambition is a recognisable design language: pieces identifiable as OPALE before the name or logo is seen. Every choice in styling and finish builds towards it.
After its first two drops, OPALE moved manufacturing to Spain. Current collections are produced there, allowing the founders to work directly with partners and review samples in person.
Leather, wool, cotton and linen are sourced in Spain. Quality, comfort, texture and durability matter, alongside the structure each fabric gives a design.
Every sample is reviewed and tested before production. Design, fit, fabric and finish must match the original vision. A sample that falls short is refined before approval.
The brand favors limited quantities over mass output, with close communication on materials, construction and finishing. Nothing is released that the founders would not wear themselves.
Small seasonal collections give each drop its own identity. OPALE generally releases around four to five pieces, rather than maintaining a permanently available mass-produced assortment.
NOT MORE.
JUST MORE DISTINCTIVE.

Barcelona is where OPALE began. Its visual world draws on European elegance, Mediterranean aesthetics and the energy of urban culture.
These are influences, not templates. From its base in Barcelona, OPALE is building an identity of its own, with Europe as its primary market, Egypt central to its next stage, and an ambition that reaches further.
Founded, owned and led by Ziad Aly and Ahmed Samy. Both are hands-on across design, creative direction, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, finance and daily operations, working with a designer and freelance photographers.
Co-Founder & Owner
A Business Management graduate, Ziad brings a commercial and operational perspective to OPALE’s growth.
Co-Founder & Owner
A Civil Engineering graduate, Ahmed brings a structured, detail-driven approach to how OPALE is built.
The next chapter is about a stronger original design language, wider awareness across Europe and Egypt, and a growing international creative community.
Longer term, the ambition is a first OPALE store in Barcelona, followed by other key cities. These are goals the brand is building towards. The work starts with the next collection.
